Future Focus personnel have been supporting and inspiring change and development in others for over 25 years.
Our core belief is that all individuals have solutions to the problems they experience. Using such a belief as a guiding philosophy, we feel the role of the Future Focus intervention is to enable the client to identify such solutions through the recognition of positive resources and strengths.
Our approach is solution focused in nature. We are often asked if such an approach ‘works’ with a specific client group, for example with people with mental health issues or with young people who are not in education, employment and training (NEET). Our response is simple, a solution focused approach works with people regardless of the problem or problems that are often used to define them.
All our staff, from practitioner to director to office administrator, have undertaken training in solution focused approaches. We firmly believe that if we are to encourage our client group to work to a solution focused model, all our staff would benefit from a knowledge of such an approach.
